Porto Kopke Fine White Douro

Kopke is the oldest Port Wine company. It was founded in 1638 by the Kopke family. The grapes are destemmed, crushed and vinified in a careful maceration, complemented by permanent pumping-over during fermentation. This process takes place in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature between 16-18ºC. It is a fresh, delicately sweet wine with elegant fruit and floral notes, accented by honey, almond and a touch of spice. Lively acidity merges with a lingering mineral note on the finish.
